Anna + Daniel | Engagement Shoot | Al Sabo Land Preserve | Kalamazoo, MI

As we walked through the corridor of trees, the mist slowly began to roll into the area, blanketing the park in a haze that brought a sense of magic and mystery along with it. Magic and Mystery: those are two words that perfectly describes an engagement shoot to us. Two people who have come together from different worlds, different lives, are beginning a new life together; and these are the photos that will always remind them of the season where they got to plan and celebrate each other as they move towards their wedding day!

When we first got the email from Anna and Daniel, our first reaction was to quickly pray that we had their date open on our calendar! We have known Anna's sister, Emily, for years through the wedding industry, so we immediately had an idea of what Anna and Daniel would be like. If only we had known that they would be so much more than we imagined! Anna and Daniel are two of the most selfless people we have ever met, and when we say that their excitement for getting married literally shines on their faces, well, all you have to do is look at their engagement photos to see that it's true!

Anna and Daniel, after we spent the evening with you, it is so apparently to us that you two have truly found the "love of your life" in each other. The way you look at each other, talk about each other, and simply serve each other shows us that you already have so many of the necessary qualities for a long-lasting marriage! We have to be honest, you two made it really hard on us to pick our blog favorites from your engagement shoot because there were just too many, but we definitely don't think that's a bad thing! We can't wait to see you two later this year!
