The "waiting" is something that every engaged couple knows all too well. It's the season of life you find yourself in after you have gotten engaged but you aren't married yet. As our couples plan and prepare for their big day, the waiting is always there, reminding them that their wedding day isn't here yet. Some describe the waiting as one of the hardest parts of being engaged, wishing that they could just speed up time and get to their wedding day as quickly as possible. And yet, when we spend the day with couples like Anna and Daniel, we are reminded that the waiting is actually one of the most important aspects of the wedding day.
If you have ever had the opportunity to spend more than five minutes with Anna and Daniel, you know that these two are all about loving others. Little moments throughout the day perfectly captured this essence of who they are at their core, like the moment when Anna finally got to share the song she had written and recorded for her "Daddy Daughter Dance" as a surprise for her father! From family to friends, Anna and Daniel made special efforts to say "hello" to each and every person at their wedding, and one could easily see that in each of those moments, they truly wanted each guest to feel how thankful they were to see them at their wedding. We know that these two would want us to make sure that we add in that this love for others doesn't ultimately come from them, but from a love they experience through their relationship with Jesus. Throughout the day, their faith in God was spoken about again and again, which gave the day a special, sweet significance to both of them.
The journey to Anna and Daniel's wedding was not without its complications, however, as some last minute issues left them without a venue mere months before their wedding day. However, Anna and Daniel both expressed that they knew that God was going to help them find exactly what they needed for their wedding day, and less than a week later, they were signed and booked with the Holly Vault as their new venue! The Holly Collection is comprised of multiple buildings, and with Anna and Daniel using both the adorable chapel and the beautiful Venue One Eleven, their wedding became a perfect combination of simple reverence and downtown style.
Anna and Daniel, the wait is finally over and you two are married! As we watched through our lens as you both kissed each other as husband and wife for the first time, we knew that you both had dreamed of that moment for so long, and we are so thrilled for you that the wait is over. Now that you are husband and wife, we can't wait to find out what the next steps for you two are as you step out into the world as the brand new Mr. and Mrs. Preston! Keep loving others and putting each other first, we can't wait to see where you two go and where He leads you!
