As the clouds floated on by, everyone continued to watch the radar in the hopes that Casey and Joe's wedding would not be a casualty of the storm that had rolled in the night before. The morning came, and after a few booms of lightning and a couple hours of rain, the last traces of bad weather dissolved into a bright, sunny Saturday afternoon! In a way, it was the perfect start to Casey and Joe's wedding day, because whenever Casey and Joe walk into a room, everything just seems to become just a little bit brighter. Maybe it's their kindness or maybe it's just the fact that they truly love people, but when we think back to their wedding, the word "vibrant" perfectly described not only the day, but also how these two treat others!
Although Casey and Joe couldn't see each other until the first look, that didn't stop them for starting the celebration early with their groomsmen and bridesmaids! Both groups enjoyed spending the morning hanging out and getting Casey and Joe ready for the "Big Moment": the first look. As Joe turned and saw Casey for the first time, the only words that could escape his mouth were "You're so beautiful." For the next few moments, they simply held each other as Joe repeated "You're so beautiful, you're so beautiful." If you've ever heard us say that the "First Look" is our absolute favorite part of the wedding day, you now know why.
As their ceremony started, the officiant began to share how he had asked each and every member of their bridal party what they would want to say to Casey and Joe, which resulted in a hilarious string of personal stories and inside jokes! The ceremony immediately led into their "Rocktail Hour," where Casey and Joe had intentionally picked songs from bands that they had seen live in concert together for their guests to listen to during cocktail hour on the barn's dance floor. Something Blue Berry Wedding Farm has been a venue that's been near and dear to our hearts for a long time, so much so that we are now co-hosts at the barn during the few Fridays that we don't have weddings this summer. Casey and Joe couldn't have picked a better location that gave them the perfect variety options like fields, woods, and barns; not to mention the fact that they were able to use both the indoor and outdoor space for the ceremony and reception!
Casey and Joe, we have already told so many people how much we love your sweet spirits and how your wedding day was the perfect display of how much you both are loved as well! From a ceremony full of friends and family to the incredible "sprinkled with love" shower that you all walked through, your kindness for others was poured back onto you both, and we think that is so beautiful! We are so honored that we got to hang out with you both on your wedding day and honestly, we are beyond thrilled that we might even get the chance to hang out with you both again in the future! Hooray for being local! All our best!

Casey's two set of earrings had stories to tell! The main earrings were called "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Earrings" as Casey was the third of her friends to wear them in her wedding. Next up was Casey's diamond earring studs which were from her Grandma's rings! Andrea loved hearing about the sweet hidden meanings behind something as small as earrings.
