Dempsey Family | Snowfall Winter Wonderland | Hager Park

If you were to ask either of us who has had the most impact on our lives up until this point, we would immediately say, "Our families!" Whether your family is one step short of the Cleavers or on the totally opposite end of the spectrum, every single one of us is who we are today because of our family! Although we normally spend our blogs chatting about adorable engaged couples or stunning weddings, family sessions always bring us back to this simple fact: our families help make us who we are. However, most people think that family photos are boring, dull, and full of standing around doing nothing; and with that, we would love to introduce you to the Dempseys!

We met Teal about three years ago when "Josh and Andrea Photography" was just starting to figure out what a photography business looked like. Her Makeup Team "Wild Emerald Bridal" was featured at a bridal show we were both attending, and before we knew it, we were messaging each other back and forth over Instagram and helping each other with styled shoots across Michigan. However, the rest of Teal's family was largely a mystery to us, since we had only seen her at bridal shows and we had only gotten to meet her husband once or twice over the years. That all changed when Teal reached out for a "Wintery Family Photo Shoot," and by the end of the afternoon, we left Hager Park feeling like we had been adopted into the family! Teal and Jayce are the epitome of a husband and wife that not only love each other, but they love that they get to love each other! However, every bit of the fun and energy for the afternoon came from Payton and Landyn, who took about 2 seconds to get comfortable in front of the camera, and then spent the next hour being the stars of the show! (Until Mom and Dad finished them off with a snow ball fight at the end!)

Hey Dempsey Family! We just think you all are so special, and we are honored that we got to spend the evening with you! Your joy and energy completely take over whoever you are around, and you leave others feeling both happier and lighter because of your sweet spirits! Family is so important, and we can clearly see that each and every one of you understand that; and as we look forward to the future, we can't wait to see how the Dempsey Family takes on the world! You all are loved!
