Emily + David | Engagement | Battle Creek, MI

We've always believed that laughter is the best medicine. It can ease tension, create joy, and take any situation and make it just a little bit better. We always end of laughing a lot with our couples, not only on their wedding days but also on their engagement shoots as we get to know who they are. However, Emily and David may win the award for making us laugh more than any other couple this year! From rescheduling three times due to weather, to almost getting rained on again at their actual session, these two literally laughed away any and all worries in a way that made the evening absolutely lovely.

Now that we have one of our new favorite venues for engagement shoots, our goal for Emily and David's shoot was to spread out and find another new location that would pair perfectly with our "majestic" downtown building. Thankfully, Battle Creek just keeps delivering and once we started the evening with Emily and David in the park, we couldn't imagine a better combination of a "stroll in the park" followed up by an "evening downtown."

Emily and David, we wish that we could bottle up the evening and redo it over again, just so we could hang out with you again! The laughter and fun that you both bring to others really does make time spent with you a delight, and if we feel that way after just one evening with you, we can't imagine how much fun your wedding day is going to be. We hope you two enjoy these last months being engaged, because December is right around the corner!
