If there is one thing that this world could use more of in 2022, it's genuine people. People who are more concerned with simply loving each other and those around them. When others find people like that in their lives, they are all drawn to them; and as we looked across the room at Heather and Trevor's wedding reception, it was apparent that these two naturally draw others in towards their joyful and genuine hearts. Combine their beautiful spirits with a stunning dress, an even more beautiful bride, and a day filled with fun and celebration, and you've perfectly described Heather and Trevor's wedding day!
We can still remember leaving Heather and Trevor's engagement shoot in Holland thinking about how much we were going to enjoy their wedding day. Although we could go on and on about how kind and caring these two are, we think their maid of honor and best man summed it up best in their speeches with the simple sentiment: Heather and Trevor are simply more concerned with others than they are of themselves. This beautiful quality shown through on their wedding, and for one day, roles were reversed and all of their friends and family were able to make the day about the new Mr. and Mrs. Cope!
The Carriage House at Pine Knob combined beautiful country club grounds with the vibrant, fall colors to create a truly unique aesthetic for Heather and Trevor's wedding! For the last few weeks, Heather and Trevor found themselves (and us!) praying for clear, warm weather, and as we crept closer and closer to the big day, we slowly saw the temperatures rise and the rain fade away from the forecast. From the beautiful floor length windows of the Carriage House to the stunning hilltop portraits, it's easy to see why Heather and Trevor chose this venue to celebrate the beginning of the rest of their lives together.
Heather and Trevor, thank you for being you. As we watched you spend the day with each other, you struck the perfect balance of looking stunning and yet still having the time of your life on your wedding day! We hope that you two felt the love in the room as much as we did, because beginning a life together with that kind of support is something that most people can only dream of. You two are the epitome of fun and joy, and we can't wait to see how that reveals itself as you two begin your journey as husband and wife!
