Jillian + Justin | Lovely Summer Wedding | "The Arbors" | Frankenmuth, MI

The classic car slowly pulled around the last corner and stopped in front of the opening through the trees where Jill and her Dad would step out. The pastor had perfectly planned his introduction so that Justin would be looking towards him instead of towards the back of the field where Jill and her father now stood. Once they were ready, the pastor told Justin he could turn around, and as he saw his bride walk down the aisle, we could almost see the moment when his breath was taken away as he saw his bride for the first time.

Our first meeting with Jill and Justin was through mutual friends, and by the time we met them for their engagement session, they were already deep into the plans for their wedding! However, if the last year and a half has taught the world anything, it's that life is full of uncertainty; and with that knowledge, Jill and Justin came to us with their new plan: to organize, book, and experience their wedding, all in under four months! All we can say is that as the planning ensued, miracle upon miracle happened, and as we stood alongside Jill and Justin throughout their day, their wedding day came together perfectly!

As we entered the venue for the first time, the hints of soft purple lights immediately let us know that we were in the right place. The reception spread out before us, a beautiful landscape of lavender lights and mauve flowers, and since purple is Jill's favorite color, the whole room looked like a beautiful testament to her love of the color! The "Arbors" perfectly teamed up with Uptown North Main to have the ceremony right next to the reception area, allowing Jill and Justin's guests to enjoy not only both locations, but also the local shops and restaurants of Frankenmuth while they were getting their bridal portraits! Frankenmuth had no lack of gorgeous locations for both their bridal party and their bridal portraits, and by the time we were back at the reception, we already knew that we want to come back someday for another wedding!

Jill and Justin, we are still completely blown away by your resourcefulness and your vision to completely book, plan, and experience a wedding in only a few months! As we've gotten to know you both better over the last few months, the way you two support each other's lives and dreams is truly inspiring! Marriage is the absolute best, but it does take effort; and knowing you two, you are going to be an absolutely incredible couple whose marriage will be an awesome example to friends and family for years to come! So we're going to take cue from Jill's sister and say that as a couple, you both are "fierce," and we love you guys for it! All our best!

When we got home that night, Josh asks, "Did you see my pocket watch photos yet? I tried some new stuff!" He never ceases to amaze with his attention to detail while photographing the groom's details, yet at the same time, always tries something new each time!

Those first looks with Dad always get us...
