Whenever you start dating someone, it's widely-known that although you will have a lot of things in common, there might be some things that you don't quite see eye-to-eye on. Maybe you're more prone to warm temperature while your significant other is a polar bear; or maybe your special someone loves the mountain while you would rather spend the day relaxing on the beach. Regardless, most people have no problem simply looking past their differences and loving each other for who they are...unless one of you happens to be a University of Michigan fan and the other a Michigan State fan. But let's be real, those kinds of couples don't exist...right?

Imagine our shock when Kursten and Jason completely blew us away by not only sharing that they cheered for opposite teams, but they actually enjoy watching the games together! These two instantly brought a special kind of life to their engagement shoot, as jokes and funny stories filled the spaces between each location we traveled to. By the time we finished exploring the park and as the sun set on their engagement shoot, we are thoroughly convinced that the secret to finding your soulmate might just be finding someone who cheers for the other team!

Kursten and Jason, we wish that we could take your outlook on life, bottle it up, and keep it with us for the days when we are feeling down. You two brought such a spark of life to your session that it made us stop and think about how we are spreading life to those around us. We love how you two know each other, love each other, and thrive with each other; even in spite of the fact that you are a Wolverine fan and a Spartan fan! We can't wait to see how you bring more and joy life to your wedding day next year!
