He had missed her all day long. Although he had seen plenty of people throughout the day, the one person he wanted to see more than anyone else had eluded him so far. But suddenly, he heard her voice, and without even thinking about it, he broke into a run, thinking only of getting to see her. Megan quickly bent down to make sure that Gordy would not get her dress dirty and as he gave her a quick bark of approval, she knew that it was finally time to see the man she was about to marry!
From our first meeting with them, we knew that Megan and Brody's wedding was going to be one of a kind, in the best way possible! Both Megan and Brody have an infectious "live life to the fullest" mentality, which has carried over to their family, friendships, and even the planning for their wedding! Each aspect of the wedding was carefully chosen so that both they and their guests would have an incredible time celebrating their marriage and partying the night away!
Marion Magnolia Farms was the perfect location for Megan and Brody to celebrate their wedding, especially since Marion Magnolia was perfectly happy with Megan and Brody bringing the other two members of their family, their dogs Gordy and Abby, to the party as well! We still have a hard time believing that a beautiful white barn like Marion Magnolia exists on the back roads of southwest Michigan, but we are so grateful to the couples who have decided to call this place "home" for their wedding day. From portraits in the shade of the properties many trees to the perfect light that shone through on the other side of the barn for golden hour, Megan and Brody's wedding was beautiful from start to finish!
Megan and Brody, we have to confess, we found ourselves talking about you two on the way home from your wedding last weekend. Our times with you have marked some of the most fun we have had in our photography business, and we don't think that is coincedence! You both can so clearly show how in love you are with each other in a sweet, intimate moment, and without missing a beat, spin around and have an incredible time partying with friends and family the next! That's the beauty of you two: you love life, you love fun, and you love each other. Frankly, we think that is why so many people love you, including us!
