Laughter truly is the best medicine. It can mend a broken heart, restore hurt feelings or relationships, and even bring a new level of joy to something that is already full of laughter and happiness. However, when laughter is infused into a wedding day, that new level of joy is felt in each and every moment from sunrise to sunset. If you were to walk through the vineyards of Tabor Hill Winery last Friday, you probably would have heard a small group of people laughing the afternoon away as they took pictures, cracked jokes, and celebrated the new Mr. and Mrs. Jimenez!
To say that Ruth and Daniel "love life" is the epitome of an understatement. After their engagement shoot near New Buffalo less than a month ago, we knew that their wedding was going to be filled to the brim with joyful moments. From their first look, rimmed with sunlight, to their golden hour portraits in the vineyard, these two continued to blow us away as each photo they took seemed to exclaim "We have been waiting for this day for so long, and now it's finally here!"
Tabor Hill Winery sits nestled in the vineyards of southwest Michigan, and once you pulled up to their private events space, you didn't have to guess why Ruth and Daniel decided to spend the day among the vineyards! These two truly wanted their wedding day to not only be a celebration for them, but also for each of their friends and family. One could often find Ruth and Daniel moving through the crowd, hugging friends and making sure that everyone was having a great time. However, some of the best moments of the day had to come from the special touches that these two had planned for the day, like Daniel's dad being the guitarist and singer for all of the first dances!
Ruth and Daniel, it may be a strange thing to say as your photographers, but after spending the day with you, we feel compelled to simply say "Thank you so much for inviting us to your wedding!" Throughout the day, we kept having to remind ourselves that we were there as vendors because you both kept treating us like friends and guests! We know that you two are going to create such a beautiful life together with Olivia, and we cannot wait to see how you bring your joy, laughter, and life to everyone around you as a family!
