Sabrina and Grant | Engagement | Milham Park | Kalamazoo, MI

Sometimes, things just work out better than you could have imagined. The light could be just right, the outfits sometimes coordinate perfectly, but the one thing that never changes is the fact that we get to work with the best couples in the world! However, when all three of these come together in the same session, we know we've entered a special moment. Sabrina and Grant's engagement session was such an evening; and by the time we were finished and on our way home, we found ourselves running to our computer to get a taste for the evening we had just spent with these two!

Sabrina originally found us on Instagram and it wasn't long before we were already chatting with her about their engagement story, their upcoming wedding, AND some wedding photography as well! After looking through our past IG posts (a practice we would encourage everyone to do!), Sabrina knew exactly where she would love their engagement photos taken and made sure to pick outfits that would go well with the park! These two posed a new problem for Andrea, since they kept nailing every pose she asked them to try! Eventually, Andrea was even able to upgrade them to some of our most advanced posing while still looking perfectly romantic. We are already dreaming of what their wedding in Detroit will be like!

Milham Park has been on the blog before, however, we've also started to branch out at our normal locations and get a little bit creative with where we take portraits! When we first met up with Sabrina and Grant, we told them that we had all of our regular locations already picked out and "We have some new ideas we think you two will love!" And we are SO glad that we did! The field at Milham gave us even more variety than we already had and was the perfect "cherry on top" to their engagement session!

Sabrina and Grant, we can't believe that was literally less than a week ago that we were hanging out with you two at Milham! As we look back through your photos and we see the love you both have in your eyes when you look at each other, it just makes us want to jump up and down with excitement! One of the greatest moments in life is finding the person you are going to spend the rest of your life with, and we love capturing these moments as you are living through them right now! We can't wait to see you all next year and celebrate your wedding! All our best!
