"In the Details" Styled Shoot | Byron Center, Michigan

Due to quarantine, we've been able to make many connections with people over social media. It's been an unexpected blessing during these times. One of these connections was Emily. Emily contacted us a month or so ago to tell us a little bit about herself and about her wedding planning/coordinating business that she was starting. After a face to face ZOOM call, we fell in love with Emily's sweet personality, her attention to details, and her heart for organizing wedding days for brides.

Fast forward to about a month later, and Emily had organized this elaborate, GORGEOUS styled shoot to display her amazing talents with many others. We enjoyed meeting the many vendors that had a part in this styled shoot! (And we will tell you about them later!)

The "Bridal Suite"

This quaint venue has an adorable bridal suite in the main house. We had fun shooting these two and their "getting ready" photos, as well as the invitation suite designed by Emily herself!

Our "Bride and Groom" Callie and Preston

Before we go any further, you need to meet Callie and Preston. For a typical styled shoot, you never know if your "bride and groom" are going to be friends, colleagues, married, or met that very day! We were thrilled to find out that these two were not only married for 2 years, but were also wearing their own wedding attire! We so loved getting to see the love and joy these two easily displayed throughout their entire shoot. They were the sweetest and excellent in all they did!

The "Soft Seating Area"

When walking into the backyard of the cute venue for the first time, we quickly noticed this cozy, elegant area of couches and chairs! It perfectly displayed bringing the comfort of indoors to the outside!

The "First Look"

Did we mention that this venue had absolutely gorgeous fields and landscape areas for photos? It took us no time in deciding the perfect pathway for these two to do their "First Look". And really, these TWO!?! Even though Preston had already seen his wife in her wedding dress, there was no acting for him as he turned around. The two are just that in love and so adorable!

(If you don't already know it, Josh and Andrea are HUGE advocates of the First Look! For many reasons...but that's for another blog one day!)

The "Ceremony" Spaces

This venue has multiple options for both outdoor and indoor ceremony spaces. So whether you choose to get married amidst the fields and trees, or say your vows in the charm of the venue home, it's totally up to you!

The "Reception" Spaces

Again, this place has different options for reception places. You can either choose the cute backyard of the venue with beautiful overhead trees, or line your tables up and down field rows as you become one with the nature around you!

The "Sweet Heart Table" was nestled under one the big trees where Laura (Truer Designs) had expertly hung the stunning flower bough directly above the table!

How great is this yard with the farmhouse style tables and adorable soft seating area off to the side for your guests to sit down and relax?

The "Venue Grounds"

Before we introduce to you all the amazing vendors, we can't just leave it at this without also showing you all the multiple angles that this place had to offer in regards to photography...it's like we're photographers or something...go figure!! Enjoy!

As we said, Emily was the organizer of this whole event. Girl, you did an outstanding job and we are looking forward to a time when we can work together at a wedding! We wish you best of everything as you go and serve your brides and grooms on their special days! Your genuine kindness is going to win over every bride and groom you meet. We fondly referred to Laura as "the one with unending talent". She can not only expertly weave flowers together into breathtaking displays, but she's also owner of the venue, can bake yummy cakes, does interior design...and the list goes on! She has such a sweet and humble spirit that is willing to learn and grow in everything she does. Her sidekick behind all the scenes is Kree. And although we may not have gotten to interact as much, we know she is the hard worker doing her best to get every detail just right when no one is looking. We can't wait for you see more of Truer Design's Work!

And then there's Kenzie! She's none other than the amazing videographer. We loved getting to work alongside her and see her interaction and creativity with Callie and Preston. We can't wait to see the end product, because we know it's going to be amazing! You are going to LOVE Kenzie Warner Storytelling!
