The Schmees Family | Family | South Haven, MI

Our summer was filling up...fast.

South Haven's popularity continues to grow each year, and with that growth comes more and more opportunities for us to meet amazing families on vacation in our favorite little lake-side town! However, there are only a few short hours for the golden light in the evening, and as our summer booked up, and more beautiful families contacted us, we started to feel almost trapped by our schedule. But then, a spark of inspiration: would families enjoy a sunRISE session just as much as a sunSET session? There was only one way to find out; and thankfully, the Schmees family were perfectly happy to wake up a little early for an incredible morning session!

There is something so special about family vacation and the more time we spent creating the Schmees' blog, it kept getting us more and more excited for our own vacation coming up in the fall! This little family simply gushed fun and joy during their photos, which only served to make our jobs even easier than they already are!

Even though this session took place last year, our huge workload prevented us from sharing their session until now. It was honestly a bitter/sweet feeling as we finished placing their last photo, because even though we had really wanted to share their adorable family session with the world as soon as possible, this blog coming out now has reignited our excitement for all of the beautiful beach family sessions that are already on the books for this upcoming summer!

Schmees Family, we can't thank you enough; not only for being a part of one of our favorite morning sessions ever, but also because you were brave enough to try something new in the form of a morning session, and it really paid off! We can't wait to see you again!
