The sun had long since dipped below the horizon as they walked outside into the cool night air. The lights decorating the outdoor gazebo softly glowed with a light that made the end of the day feel almost magical. The day so far had been more than they could have ever dreamed, but now, in this quiet moment, they were finally able to take in everything that had happened that day. They were married, and were about to begin the rest of their lives together. They turned around and looked at their beautiful venue, full of friends and family celebrating their marriage, and in a single moment, everything beautiful about weddings was perfectly displayed before them.
When Tiffany and Alex first pulled up to the venue and we saw them for the first time, all four of us had the exact same sentiment: "This day has been such a long time coming!" Many of our seasons with brides and grooms last for around a year or so from the first inquiry to their wedding day. With Tiffany and Alex, we have been able to meet, interact, and befriend these two for the past two years, making this day so much more special to us! Although the feelings flowed with Tiffany's first looks with her bridesmaids, she took the day a step further and planned out first looks with her dad, grandpa, and all the groomsmen as well. However, those moments paled in comparison to the emotion when Tiffany and Alex saw each other for the first time.
MillCreek Wilde could not have been a better venue to not only celebrate Tiffany and Alex but also the beginning of fall. The colorful trees seemed to come out on display specifically to celebrate these two, and for the first time this season, wedding guests were greeted with cozy, warm blankets for the ceremony instead of fans and bottles of water. The adorable hollow in the woods provided the perfect setting where all were invited to eat, dance, and celebrate the night away with Tiffany and Alex, a task that their guests fulfilled to perfection!
Tiffany and Alex, we just looked over the mountain of emails, messages, and texts we have exchanged back and forth over the past two years, and it just makes the end of this blog that much more bittersweet to us. After seeing how you not only celebrated yourselves but also invited your friends and family into the celebration as well, we have nothing but the highest of hopes for you two going forward as husband and wife. Our favorite moment by far of the day was Andrea calling Tiffany "Alex's Wife" and seeing the absolute joy spark in Tiffany's eyes as the realization came that you two were finally married. Never lose that spark, it's just one more thing that makes you two so special!
